My family would like to welcome to the world… Christian Reid Tham (born 14th April, 2011) weighting in at 8 lbs. 6oz (3.8 kg) and 56 cm tall. We have been told over and over again that we need to drink milk to keep our bones healthy. We drink milk every morning with our cereal. Our kids drink a glass of milk with their snack or their dinner… because we have been told it was good for us. But have you ever thought whether milk is actually good for us? Is our body designed to drink milk? Sure there is calcium in milk, but are we actually absorbing it in our bodies?
Here’s a question: Do you know of any other mammal in the world that drinks another animals’ milk? Why cow’s milk and not rat’s milk?

I recently read this article on a study of 10,000 kids and the found that the kids that were breast fed even as little as 4 weeks show significant improvement in their academic scores at ages 5, 7 and 14 years age.
